Prince Henry’s Sixth Form

Completed: 2004
Client: Worcestershire County Council

The design provides a new sixth form centre and consists of a two storey terracotta faced block with undercroft area for kayak storage. The building utilises solar shading devices and a passive natural stack ventilation system. The challenging sloping site has enabled the building to command impressive views across the vale of Evesham.

The sixth form centre received the Distinction in Building Construction Award from Wychavon District Council in recognition of its high standards of design and craftsmanship.

The scheme also won the Wychavon District Council Built In Quality Award 2005 in recognition of outstanding attention to workmanship and customer satisfaction.
